Dennis, 32, a local Wooloware Tradie has stunned fellow team mates wasting no time returning to form in a pre-season trial on Saturday with his old reserve grade side.

After 2 years away from the game it looked as though Dennis hung the boots up for good.

“I struggled to give up my Saturday routine,”

“Up to the Tradies TAB at 12, sink VB’s until Race 10 and head over to Northies at 6,” said Dennis as he dunked a beer battered fry into Gravy.

As a Tradie, Dennis finds his weeks need to be rounded off well with a trip to the pub with the boys, every weekend.

Fellow team mates were surprised to see the Big Marn fly through the pre-game warm up with the confidence of a young George Rose.

“He was nimble, I was shocked,” said long time friend and team mate.

Dennis darted through a gap late in the game to give his side a 4 point lead right on the whistle. Off to a cracking start for the Big Marn and one to watch for the upcoming season.
