The minimum period is the minimum amount of days you are agreeing to hire the vehicle for at a minimum. For a 5 year rent to own, this minimum period is 24 months.
When signing the rental agreement, the customer is agreeing to fulfil the weekly payments for the 24-month minimum. Therefore, the customer is required to make the weekly repayments for 24 months, even if they wish to return the vehicle before that point. After the 24 months is up, the customer will then have the option to exit the contract or continue for the remainder of the rent-to-own rental period.
FlexiRent
The minimum period for a FlexiRent depends on the term that the customer initially signed the contract for. This may be a 30-day, 90-day or 12-month minimum. Whichever this is, the customer commits to hire the vehicle for that minimum period. After the period is up, the customer can extend the hire as long as they wish or return at any time.
