I have a van on a rent-to-own plan with TradieSpec and next month my contract will be fully paid off. My journey with them has been very smooth from the beginning.

The staff are amazing – especially Mitch, Geoffrey and Vishal. They are always helpful and quick to find solutions whenever there is an issue, whether it’s related to payments, accident repairs, or arranging a replacement vehicle.

Excellent service with tradiespec, i got the flexi rent for 3 months to prove i can make repayments after 3 months i got the rent 2 own ford ranger xl. Was very easy and had no issues at all through the hole process i would defenently reccomend tradie spec if you are looking to a simple process. Thank you very much

Amazing. At JK Gutter Cleaning we need to carry 1,2 & 3 storey ladders and need to be able lock our work gear inside and there was literally no where else that could cater to our needs whilst our work vehicle was at the mechanics.

These guys could have charged us anything but they were super reasonable. They also offer delivery and pick up which saved me doing the extra trip.

All the staff were super friendly.

Cannot rate them highly enough.

Do you offer delivery and collection if there is no local depot near me? How does it work?

Whether you prefer to pick up in-store or have vehicles delivered directly to your site, we offer doorstep delivery and collection across Australia (excl. TAS & NT). Delivery and collection fees apply based on your location. Please call us on 1300 946 025 for more details.

Will a credit check on my financial history be completed?

For Rent to Own contracts, we may conduct a soft credit enquiry, however your credit score and history is not a determining factor.

What types of vehicles can I rent?

You can hire utes, vans, and tipper trucks for use across Australia (excl. NT and TAS). All vehicles are trade-ready and available for either FlexiRent or Rent to Own.

What vehicle hire services are available?

We offer the FlexiRent and Rent To Own services.

FlexiRent
A FlexiRent is a week-to-week rental with a minimum contract period (30 days, 90 days or 12 months), where on-road costs are included in the weekly cost, such as registration, CTP, full comprehensive insurance, all scheduled servicing and maintenance, and 24/7 nationwide roadside assistance.

Rent To Own
A Rent to Own contract is a 5-year contract with a minimum contract period of 24 months. During the contract, the on-road costs are included in the weekly cost, such as registration, CTP, full comprehensive insurance, all scheduled servicing and maintenance, and 24/7 nationwide roadside assistance. If you fulfil the 5 year term, Tradiespec will transfer ownership of the vehicle to you for a $1 transfer fee.

Where do I collect the vehicle from?

Collection/delivery can take place at our closest branch in NSW, our Peakhurst branch. Alternatively, delivery/collection can be done across Australia (excl. NT and TAS) for an additional fee, dependent on exact location, and other variables, and subject to availability.

How soon can I get a vehicle?

In most cases, vehicles are ready within a few business days, depending on availability.

What if I return the vehicle before the minimum period?

Rent to Own
The minimum period is the minimum amount of days you are agreeing to hire the vehicle for at a minimum. For a 5 year rent to own, this minimum period is 24 months.

When signing the rental agreement, the customer is agreeing to fulfil the weekly payments for the 24-month minimum. Therefore, the customer is required to make the weekly repayments for 24 months, even if they wish to return the vehicle before that point. After the 24 months is up, the customer will then have the option to exit the contract or continue for the remainder of the rent-to-own rental period.

FlexiRent
The minimum period for a FlexiRent depends on the term that the customer initially signed the contract for. This may be a 30-day, 90-day or 12-month minimum. Whichever this is, the customer commits to hire the vehicle for that minimum period. After the period is up, the customer can extend the hire as long as they wish or return at any time.

When signing the rental agreement, the customer is agreeing to fulfil the weekly payment minimum. Therefore, the customer is required to make the weekly repayments until the minimum period is over, even if they wish to return the vehicle before that point. After the minimum period of months is up, the customer may return the vehicle at any time.
