A Rent to Own contract is a 5-year contract with a minimum contract period of 24 months. During the contract, the on-road costs are included in the weekly cost, such as registration, CTP, full comprehensive insurance, all scheduled servicing and maintenance, and 24/7 nationwide roadside assistance. After the minimum 24 month period, the vehicle may be returned at any point for an early exit fee of $500 if you wish. However, if you fulfill the 5 year term, Tradiespec will transfer ownership of the vehicle to you for a $1 transfer fee.

In most cases, vehicles are ready within a few business days, depending on availability.

FlexiRent
The minimum period for a FlexiRent depends on the term that the customer initially signed the contract for. This may be a 30 day, 90 day or 12 month minimum. Whichever this is, the customer commits to hire the vehicle for that minimum period. After the period is up, the customer can extend the hire as long as they wish or return at any time.

When signing the rental agreement, the customer is agreeing to fulfill the weekly payment minimum. Therefore, the customer is required to make the weekly repayments until the minimum period is over, even if they wish to return vehicle before that point. After the minimum period months is up, the customer may return the vehicle at any time.

Rent to Own
The minimum period is the minimum number of days you are agreeing to hire the vehicle for at a minimum. For a 5-year Rent to Own contract, this minimum period is 24 months.

Therefore, the customer is required to make the weekly repayments for 24-months, even if they wish to return vehicle before that point. After the 24 months is up, the customer will then have the option to exit the contract or continue for the remainder of the rent-to-own rental period.
